DISCUSSION GROUPS will be formed based on applications received on or before the registration deadline. All classes are subject to sufficient enrollment, if discussion groups cannot be formed, you may take the Self Study option at no additional cost, the Correspondence option for an additional $50.00 fee or your fees will be refunded in full.
SELF STUDY provides student with the textbook, workbook, student self study guide, answer keys and practise examination.
The re-registration fee applies to students requiring more than one semester to complete a semester's work. If the course material is revised in the re-registration semester, registrants must purchase the revised material.
Exam must be written on scheduled examination date or a deferral fee of $84.00 will apply. Fee includes a non-refundable amount of $40.00. No refunds within seven (7) days of start date.
PASS MARK 60% Completion of each level qualifies for twelve (12) Continuing Education Credits. CAIB 4 qualifies for either Life or General credits.
RIBO credits:
CAIB 1 5 management, 18 technical
CAIB 2 & 3 18 technical each
CAIB 4 15 management
CAIB 1 is an approved pre-licensing course, and successful completion qualifies the student for a Level 1 license. (This level of license authorizes the license holder to sell, inside but not outside the office of a general insurance agency and under the supervision of the holder of a Level 2 licensee, every category of insurance including accident and sickness insurance, excluding life insurance.)
CAIB 2 & 3 successful completion of these two courses qualifies the student for a Level 2 license. (This level of license authorizes the license holder to sell insurance inside and outside the office of a general insurance agency.)
CAIB 4 successful completion of this course qualifies the student for a Level 3 license. (This level of license authorizes the license holder to sell insurance policies, both inside and outside of the office of a general insurance agency, and to manage the office of a general insurance agency.

ALL LEVELS: Successful completion qualifies for twelve (12) CECs per course. CAIB 4 qualifies for either Life or General CEC's.
