Best Practises Companion Program Workshops
More and more brokerages are completing this program and finding real benefit and value. The concept behind the Best Practices Companion Program is to get principals and key personnel away from your offices so that you may make strategic choices about your brokerage which are essential to your success. For maximum benefit, we suggest that more than one person attend. You may choose to send different representatives to each module, depending on their areas of expertise.
The program consists of five modules. Each module is presented in a two-day seminar/workshop except for the final module (one day). Module I deals with such areas as developing a Strategic Plan and Introducing Best Practices to your staff. Module II is Sales and Marketing; Module III is Human Resources; Module IV is Operations and Financial Management; and Module V brings it all together, developing a business plan.

No workshops are currently scheduled for 2006-2007. If demand is sufficient workshops will be scheduled. Check back for updates.
Here are some comments from those who have completed the Program:
"It was very profitable for our management team. The course was interactive and brought forth many ideas that were easily applied to day-to-day operations. Overall, the Best Practices course was time well spent and I recommend it to any management team that may be looking for ways to improve their business."
…..Jennifer Lohnes, CPBA, Winnipeg, MB
"Best Practices is both motivator and a morale builder. It has created a sense of ownership amongst the staff."
…..Gerry Parent, CFP, CLU, CHFC, Essex Insurance, Winnipeg, MB
"It encourages you to take a look at your operation the way that an outsider would. It gives you the tools to make the required changes to correct any deficiencies. This was time well spent and I'd recommend it to anyone."
.….Bob Ross, CAIB, Westpark Insurance, Russell, MB
"This course should be mandatory for every broker. It helps you see the big picture. It particularly makes you look at your strengths and weaknesses and how to capitalize on both."
