Irwin began his career in 1973, purchased Gateway Insurance in 1977 and merged with Ryan Agencies in 1989. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Sales Manager for Ryan Gateway Insurance Brokers Inc. Irwin got his B.S.c. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 and his Canadian Risk Manager in 1999.
Irwin and his wife Karen have two adult children, Gillian & Bryce. This is Irwin’s third term on the IBAM Board of Directors and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg, West. Irwin enjoys gardening, wine making and politics. He is considered the “Home Handy Man” around the house. |
