Brett started his career in the insurance industry working part-time for Wawanesa Mutual in both the Wawanesa and Winnipeg branch offices working mainly in the commercial underwriting department. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree at the University of Manitoba in 2003 he accepted a job with Guild Insurance Brokers Inc. in Brandon. Currently Brett is Operations Manager, responsible for finance and IT. He is an authorized Autopac operator and holds a level 2 general brokers license. Brett completed his CAIB designation in 2004 and is currently pursuing the CIP designation. Away from the office Brett stays busy with sports of all kinds and spending time at the lake.
